Pacific Poker Review

Pacific Poker: Easy Profits & Great Omaha Hi/Lo Action

Pacific Poker offers some of the loosest (and therefore some of the most profitable) Omaha poker action online. Some players from the casino and bingo sides of the fence usually venture into poker to their loss – and to the advanced players’ gain. Pacific poker is the easiest site to win money at and continues to offer the best Omaha Hi/Lo action for non-U.S. players.

Omaha Action at Pacific Poker

Omaha Hi and Omaha Hi/Lo are both offered at Pacific Poker, along with Texas Hold’em, and Stud Poker (both Hi and Hi/Lo variants). Fortunately, there is a lot of traffic at the Omaha poker tables so you will have no trouble sitting at the stakes of your choice.

On the average, Omaha Hi tables garner around 200 players during peak hours. Omaha Hi/Lo’s average traffic during peak hours is around 150.The majority (around 75%) of Omaha Hi/Lo traffic was concentrated on Fixed Limit tables.

Pacific Poker is a great site to play Omaha Hi and Omaha Hi/Lo at. Most players are not very proficient poker players so competition is rather soft. In fact, the average flop percentages are usually above 80 percent at low-stakes tables. In Omaha guaranteed tournaments, there are fewer players compared to other poker rooms so you’ll find it easier to win the big prize. Indeed, if you are looking for easy profits, you should not let the low volume of players stop you from trying Pacific Poker.

Points in Pacific Poker’s Favor

First of all, you’d find the Pacific Poker’s main lobby friendlier and easier to use than most poker rooms’ main lobbies. The games are the main filter and the type of game (ring game, tournament, etc.) is the secondary filter so you’ll find it easy to find Omaha Hi and Omaha Hi/Lo ring games and tournaments.

The graphics and sounds are great and the gaming software lends itself well to customization through the changeable three-dimensional avatars and gaming environments. Through the multi-table function, you can play at four tables simultaneously, and through the hand replay function you can easily review your past game strategy.

If you want to play Omaha cash games at Pacific Poker, make a deposit through Wire Transfer or bank transfer or charge your credit card (VISA and MasterCard are accepted) or use NETeller, PaySafe, FirePay, or Citadel. You would be given a bonus worth 50% of your initial deposit (max is $100). Reload bonuses are more generous: still 50% match up but max bonus goes up to $500 sometimes. Then there are the loyalty points awarded for cash hands played. Funds can be cashed out through NETeller, cashier’s check or direct transfer to your bank account.

If you’re a U.S. resident, though, you cannot play at Pacific Poker.
